Lufthansa announces Air Traffic Control Strike



Lufthansa Strike Frankfurt

As of Feb 16, 2012 3:30 PM Local time in Frankfurt, Germany; the GdF Air Traffic Control Union ordered a strike that will continue until Feb 17, 2012 at 10pm.  This strike is specifically at Frankfurt’s airport and should not affect others at this time.

  1. Before I retired, my flniyg was into Heathrow, a base for Emirates. Theu had excellent equipment and seemed very well run. There were no negative rumors about them, unusual itself in the airline industry. Emirates and El Al are the only two carriers I would put my family on in that part of the world. John
